This pop punk doesn't play on MTV
In couple of years ago in Provinssi rock's festival Nofx's singer Fat Mike had a plaster in his leg, but that didn't bother.
Nofx takes its audience with familiar talk: rough jokes flies around.
The band has a special proudness theme: MTV doesn't show their videos. Nofx doesn't even do any videos about their the newest song.
They don't do actually any single about their the newest songs and they don't give any interview. Abnormal market stragecy fits to Epitaph-
Company which represent Nofx. Epitaph's others bands are for example Rancid, Total chaos, Pennywise.
"MTV sells records, but destroys bands. We don't wanna be a product. We're band not just one song", says Fat Mike. Nofx don't wanna be a
punk band which bathe in money. Nowadays Nofx's records has sold about million one. Nofx's melodic punk is entirely pop, but band can
present it tight. In their the newest album Heavy petting zoo bands fast comps works, and hurried music you can get the words. To listen the
album gets only an half hour, even it contains 13 flashy songs. Nice Itchy and Scratchy -type song melodies to few very fast punk songs. First
song Hobophobic is versatile punk song; even it takes only 49 seconds.
